About Vai
Vaibhav has excellent focus, creativity and attention to detail with diverse experience in engineering, technology and change management roles held in the aviation and financial services industries. He holds an outstanding performance record evidenced by multiple awards at work and several outside-work achievements in charitable and entrepreneurial activities. He is highly organised and driven, with exceptional interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Born in New Delhi, India, Vai was raised and educated in multiple parts of the world including Singapore, South Korea and parts of Europe. Growing up, he was strong in maths and sciences and after securing straight A's at school and college, went on to study aeronautical engineering at City University London. He subsequently worked as an engineer with British Airways, the UK’s flag carrier airline, before moving to the Markets division of RBS. In 2015, he completed a full-time MBA with distinction from Cass Business School where he was also selected in the top 100 most inspiring MBA candidates worldwide.
He currently works as a change consultant in financial services, with recent roles in asset management firms, helping them make the best use of their change budget.
Vai has held several significant leadership positions; while in education, he was a School Representation Officer for 3000+ students of Engineering and Maths at City University, President of the Cass Entrepreneurship Society boasting a membership of 500+ during his MBA and is currently a trustee role for a London based old-age charity.
He is very entrepreneurial and regularly adds new startup names to his list of failed ventures, waiting for the one that does make it big. Until then, he continues trying in his spare time.
Outside work, Vaibhav is a published author, creative writer and co-producer/designer to a mobile app. He is a smart investor with deep interest in the real estate sector. Sports-wise, he is passionate about martial arts and bodybuilding. He also captains a London leagues' Table Tennis team.
He believes in, and strongly supports charitable causes for: Children's care, Looking after elderly, Womens' prosperity, Mens' health, Animals' safety and Planet's sustainability.
